 About Author
My
name is Konrad Olejnik (Ph.D.), I
work as a scientist and academic teacher in the Institute of
Papermaking and Printing at the Lodz Technical University in Poland. My
professional interests concentrate on problems related to paper
technology: stock preparation (especially refining) and its impact
on paper quality,
wet end operations, chemical state of paper machine's water system
and whole chemical and physical balance of paper mill.
As a result of these interests, I designed and created WetEnd Simulator - computer program which attempts to simulate and illustrate the work of wet end part of the paper machine. In fact, this project becomes one of my hobby topics. Major part of the simulator has been written after hours - at home. I'm still going to develop this program and keep it free therefore "technical" support is welcome including bug reports, suggestions, critical remarks, explanations, hints and new scientific data which let me to improve the reality of my WetEnd Simulator. |
